State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of copper and metal from a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said unknown criminals entered a locked storage trailer located on the property of R&R Auto sales, located along SR61, in North Manheim Township, and removed numerous spools of copper wire and metal scrap. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 20 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 21. The missing items are the property of B.J. Baldwin Electric Inc., of Orwigsburg.At the same location troopers said criminals smashed a rear window on a delivery truck located in a rear lot at the dealership and removed a temporary registration plate and sticker. The registration plate has state number YXY6002. The theft reportedly occurred during the same time frame as the incident above.
