Tamaqua graduate Casey Rother was enjoying a solid season for the Lehigh University baseball team before the season was cancelled.
Rother had played in 15 games (starting 14) and was hitting .278 with two homers and a team-leading 10 RBIs.
The former Blue Raider also was tops on the Mountain Hawks squad with a .500 slugging percentage. He also had scored eight runs, and collected two doubles, two triples and four walks, while compiling a .322 on-base percentage.
Northwestern graduate Tyler Schreiner also played for Lehigh (5-10) this season, starting and playing in 13 games.
The former Tiger was 10-for-46 at the plate (.217) with a double, homer, six runs scored, four RBIs and five walks.
