It was announced that groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled July 8 at the site of the new Air Products and Chemicals Inc. plat at Haucks, west of Hometown. Financial arrangements delayed the start of construction, originally scheduled last Summer. Final papers were signed last weekend on a $2.9 million bond issue sold by the Schuylkill County Industrial Development Authority to help finance the project. The new plant will house the Air Products Specialty Gas Division on a 90 acre stie.
