A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a crash along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ruben A. Orellana, 24, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2002 Honda Civic eastbound when his vehicle slid across the left lane and down into a median ditch. While sliding through the ditch the car struck a tree.Orellana was not injured. He was cited for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
