Monroe man victim of $1,500 phone scam

State police at Fern Ridge said a Monroe County man was the victim of a phone scam.

Troopers said Curtis Irvin, of 1580 Starry Lane, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported on Thursday, Feb. 20, that he was the victim of the scam that cost him $1,500. Troopers did not provide any details of the scam.
