Tamaqua police have cited Brian Keith Woods, 49, of 259 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, following incidents on March 1.

Officers were dispatched to 228 W. Broad St. at 1:01 p.m. for a possible overdose. On scene they found Woods, who told them he had been drinking and "smoking weed." A bottle of vodka was found in his jacket pocket.Woods refused medical assistance from EMS personnel and was taken to his home with instructions to stay there until he became sober.About 15 minutes later police were dispatched to the 200 block of Rowe Street for an unwanted person, which turned out to be Woods.He was then cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
