Maria D. Lopez Gutierrez, 33, of Beaver Meadows, was cited for careless driving after a three-vehicle crash at 11:59 a.m. April 19 on Hazle Street in Beaver Meadows, State police at the Hazleton barracks said.

She and a passenger were uninjured in the incident.

Police said she was driving a 1998 Toyota Corolla when she pulled out of a parking spot and the car traveled across the road, striking a small post, before going onto a private driveway and hitting a 2023 Ford Transit and a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox.

Police said the Corolla had functional damage, while the Equinox had minor damages.

The Transit was towed from the scene, police said.
