Rush Township residents have a new way to stay up to date with township happenings.

The township recently launched “Rush Township Connect,” an app that’s available for free download on smart devices.

The app, through GoGov, alerts users to road closures, special events, weathers and road cleanups.

It also shares information about special meetings, along with meeting agendas and minutes.

Rush Township Connect contains links to the township’s website, www.rushtownship.org, where users can find notifications, zoning permit information, news, ordinances and more.
