The annual physical education demonstration of Jim Thorpe Senior High School was held last night in the school gymnasium, under the direction of Daniel Strouse.

He said the emphasis in this demonstration was placed on physical fitness, that America has become a nation of leg sports and this event would emphasize the muscles of the upper extremities which are not used in American sports activities.

The gym team was composed of Jacqueline Solomon, Florence Butchko, Claire Tessitore, Raelene Melber, Rita Tessitore, Ruth Angelovic, Bernice Herman, Jeanne Borits, Susan Carroll, Dennis Gerber, Judy Rader, George Weiksner, Peter Weiksner, Alan DiMichael, Dennis Lennon, Lynn Batdorf, Frank Hydro, Gary Heydt and Earl Heydt.
