April 28, 2003 — Four different Panther Valley athletes win multiple events as the Panthers, coached by George Mitzen, register a Schuylkill League track & field sweep of Shenandoah Valley. Josh Breiner and John Barachie both grab two firsts as the PV boys gain a 75-66 victory. Breiner captures the 200 and 400, while Barachie crosses first in the 1600 and 3200. In the girls meet, which the Panthers win by an 88-48 score, Jamie Tatusko and Ashley Starry each take a pair of events. Tatusko betters the field in the shot put and triple jump, while Starry wins the 1600 and 3200.
