Traditionally a time to rest and recharge, spring break served another purpose for two local students at East Stroudsburg University.

Jane Dorshimer of Bowmanstown and Jared Salazar of Brodheadsville both spent the break abroad, taking advantage of hands-on learning opportunities.

East Stroudsburg University, with more than 50,000 students enrolled, offers 49 undergraduate programs, 20 master’s programs and two doctoral programs.
