State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following accidents:

• Elaine Wasserleben, 77, of Tamaqua, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 5:27 p.m. April 16 on Lakeside Avenue, Delano Township.

Police said she was driving a 2017 Toyota RAV4 eastbound when she briefly lost consciousness, causing the vehicle to leave the south shoulder and hit a mailbox. It continued east, striking a parked 2001 Nissan Frontier.

Police said the RAV4 had disabling damage and was towed from the scene, while the Frontier had functional damage and was not towed.

• Police investigated a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 3:18 p.m. April 9 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

They said a southbound vehicle entered the left lane and its trailer struck a 2020 Kia Sportage driven by Owen J. Corrigan, 51, of Ashland, that was passing it.

Police said the driver of the vehicle fled south on the interstate.
