Fire companies from Schuylkill and Carbon counties responded to a brush fire Tuesday afternoon in West Penn Township. The fire was reported just before 2 p.m. at 192 Ridge Cup Road and involved a shed and brush. Fire companies from West Penn, Tamaqua and Mahoning Valley responded to the scene.
