State police at Fogelsville - crashes
State police at Fogelsville reported crashes:
• Sherry A. Mohammed, 52, of Allentown, and Debra J. Reinhard, 71, of Danielsville, were injured after a two-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. April 14 at the east ramp of Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.
Police said they were transported by personnel from the Macungie Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital.
They said the crash happened when Mohammed, driving a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, attempted to make a left turn onto the eastbound ramp and proceeded into the intersection, where the Pathfinder struck a 2024 Subaru Impreza driven by Reinhard. Police said both vehicles had disabling damage.
Police said Mohammed was cited after the crash.
• Franklin J. Crawford, 22, of New Tripoli, had minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 7:50 a.m. April 10 on Allemaengel Road, Lynn Township.
Police said he refused a medical transport by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps.
They said he was driving a 2003 Saturn east and was negotiating a curve when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and hit a tree stump. It had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Police said Crawford was cited after the crash.
• Police said one person had minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 6:37 p.m. April 3 on Kings Highway, Lynn Township.
Police did not provide the names of the drivers but said the operator of a 2013 Toyota Avalon was transported from the scene by emergency medical services personnel.
They said the crash occurred when the driver of the Avalon attempted to make a left turn in front of a 2006 Peterbilt tractor-trailer, which struck the side of the Avalon.
• Police said a 17-year-old boy from New Tripoli was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 2:49 p.m. March 18 at the intersection of Kings Highway and Mosserville Road in Lynn Township.
Police did not provide details of the crash except to say it involved a 1973 Ford farm truck operated by Nevin P. Fritz, 77, of Andreas, and a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by the teen.
Police said Fritz was cited after the crash.
