State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported:

• Police responded to a theft by deception/identity theft incident at 11:20 a.m. April 14 on Kistler Road, Lowhill Township. A 71-year-old man from Schnecksville said that he received a letter in the mail advising him he needed to verify his identity for an unemployment claim. The man told police he contacted the Department of Labor & Industry, at which point the claim was closed. He did not lose any money.

• Police responded to a harassment by physical contact incident at 6:17 p.m. April 11 at a site on Tycolia Court, Lowhill Township. They said a victim had bruising on his arms but did not provide any other details of the incident.
