Sabrina Goodroe, 26, of Summit Hill, faces charges of disorderly conduct and harassment filed by Tamaqua police following an April 14 incident.
Police said they received a report of an assault around 8:20 p.m. from a woman who said she was at a birthday party at a restaurant in Tamaqua and when she left, her daughter, who had recently received her driver’s permit, was behind the wheel.
While on West Broad Street, the woman said a driver in front of them, later identified as Goodroe, was attempting to back into a parking space.
The woman said her daughter attempted to back up to give Goodroe space but was unable to do so since another vehicle was behind hers.
The woman said Goodroe began screaming at her daughter and her. The woman approached Goodroe to tell her that her daughter couldn’t back up. Police said Goodroe began hitting her, pushed against her head with her forehead, scratched her and pushed her.
