Police: Driver going 93 mph on turnpike

State police at the Pocono barracks said a driver was going over 90 mph on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Police said that Karma Kars, Quakertown, was cited after they made a traffic stop of a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer at 8:37 a.m. April 10 at mile marker 97.8 in Kidder Township.

They stopped the car after it was clocked at 93 mph in a 70 mph zone, after which they determined the car had several registration and inspection stickers on it.

Police said victims in the incident are Lane Rover Main Line, Wayne, and R.J. Burne Cadillac Pontiac, Scranton.
