April 16, 2002 — Dave Conway and Dominique Ramer both win two individual events to help Marian record a sweep of Panther Valley in Schuylkill League action. Conway, a former PV student, picks up wins in the discus and javelin competitions to help the Colts gain a 124-24 victory. Marian takes 17 of the 18 events, getting wins from 13 different athletes. Ramer captures the 800 and 1600 as the Fillies post an 80-70 decision. The Panthers are paced by Adrienne Bonner, who wins three events (100, 200, high jump), while Diana Bruch (shot put) and John Barachie (300 hurdles) both set school records.
