Rush Township supervisors began paving the way for upcoming road projects.

During the board’s recent meeting, supervisors approved advertising for bids for a seal coat project on Grove and Tamaqua streets, and Meadow, Ryan and Frankford avenues.

The streets are in the village of Hometown.

Supervisors also voted to advertise for a road reconstruction project on Oak Lane and Grant and Birch streets, all in Hometown.

Those roads were impacted by recent sewer and stormwater drainage work.
