Weatherly Borough Council last night named Lawrence Fedorick, Weatherly R.1, as lieutenant on the borough police force.

Fedorick replaces Mark Neapolitan, who resigned to accept a position with the McCrory’s Corporation.

Fedorick has submitted his resignation to the borough council of Summit Hill, where he is currently employed as a full-time patrolman.

The 29-year-old is a 1972 graduate of Weatherly Area High School who completed the Municipal Police Training Course in May 1982. He is a lifelong resident of the Weatherly area and is married and the father of one child.
