State police at Fogelsville - crashes

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Ryan M. Foux, 33, of New Ringgold, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle crash at 7:43 p.m. March 14 on Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township.

Police said he was driving a 2015 Toyota Tacoma that struck the rear of a 2017 Honda Accord operated by Elizabeth J. Harrison, 45, of Emmaus.

It is not known if anyone was injured but there were no emergency transports from the scene, police said.

• Police were called to a hit-and-run crash at 11:10 a.m. March 17 on King’s Highway, Lynn Township.

An unknown vehicle, possibly a white pickup truck, sideswiped a 2022 Freightliner driven by David C. Zerbe, 48, of Elizabethtown, before fleeing the scene, police said.

Zerbe was uninjured in the incident.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:04 a.m. April 2 in Route 309 in Lynn Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Donald E. Roth Jr., 51, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a 2022 Nissan Sentra southbound when it struck a deer that entered the road. Jay C. Dyer, 57, of Coaldale, was a passenger in the vehicle.

The car had disabling damage and was towed from the scene, police said.
