Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for April 14-18.
Monday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Blueberry Bread or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
Tuesday: Chicken Alfredo and Pasta, Broccoli, Clementine, Cookie or Harvest Chicken Salad
Wednesday: Beef Sloppy Joe, Potato Wedges, Carrots, Applesauce or Turkey Pepperoni Sandwich
Thursday: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roasted Potatoes, Peas and Onions, Pound Cake with berries
Friday: Center closed
The senior center also announced the following events.
Bingo on April 14 at 10:45 a.m.; St Luke’s speaking on Women’s Health on April 15 at 11 a.m.; Trivia on April 16 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on April 17 at 11 a.m.; Center closed April 18.
Easter Party on April 21 at 10:30 a.m.; Bingo on April 22 at 10:45 a.m.; Practice for Senior Games on April 23 at 10 a.m.; Po-Keeno on April 24 at 11 a.m.; Movie and Popcorn on April 25 at 10 a.m.
Senior Games start May 6. Make sure to fill out your application at the senior center.
Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Nesquehoning
Historical Society
The Nesquehoning Historical Society is hosting a full-day railroad excursion to Pottsville at 9 a.m. on June 26.
The Reading and Northern train leaves the Nesquehoning station and travels to Pottsville where passengers can then enjoy a variety of activities, including a tour the Yuengling Brewery, the Yuengling Mansion, Jerry’s Car Museum and more.
