American Cancer Telethon airs live Saturday, Sunday

The 46th annual American Cancer Society Telethon is airing live from Penn’s Peak Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight both days.

More than 30 acts are scheduled to perform during the 24 hours. The Courage Awards will be presented both Saturday and Sunday evening. The first one will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and two will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The telethon will be aired through Northeastern Pennsylvania on several cable systems: Service Electric (Lehigh Valley), channel 913; Service Electric Cablevisions, channel 90; Blue Ridge Communication, channel 13; Blue Ridge Communications (Adams County), channel 13; Comcast, channel 15. The telethon is also live-streamed on YouTube.

The public is welcome at Penn’s Peak.
