State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:
• Edward D. McElwee and Lera S. McElwee, both 42 and of New Milford, had possible injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 3:04 p.m. April 6 on Route 443 (East Railroad Street) in New Ringgold.
Police said they were transported by personnel from Schuylkill EMS to Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Police said the crash occurred as Edward McElwee was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, with Lera McElwee as a passenger, northbound when it struck a deer that entered the roadway.
The car was towed from the scene.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:22 a.m. April 5 on Claremont Avenue in Hometown, Rush Township.
Police said the crash occurred when Shelby M. Maley, 26, of Pottsville, driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee southbound in the right lane, began to turn left onto Ben Titus Road while a 2017 Subaru Impreza driven by Matthew Gazdick, 23, of Tamaqua, was in the left lane.
The Jeep struck the Subaru, causing disabling damage, police said. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Maley was cited after the crash, according to police.
