The Weatherly Area School Board last week recommended a number of measures to be voted on and approved at the monthly school board meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The meeting will begin at the special starting time due to the Weatherly Borough attending the meeting.

Recommendations for approval:

• Retirement of Margaret McAndrew, middle school teacher, last day being June 5.

• Retirement of Nancy Ehrenfried, cafeteria aide, last day being June 4.

• Appointment of Melissa Knepper as a mentor for Jennifer Grega (teacher replacing Tiffany Chapin) at a stipend of $750.

• Kacie Scott as a volunteer softball coach for the 2024-25 season, pending all paperwork and clearances.

• The Memorandum of Understanding between the Weatherly Borough Police Department and the Weatherly Area School District. The MOU to be reviewed and updated, if necessary, every two years per Section VI General Provisions B.

• The Verkada Camera Project for $183,505.70 including 10-year support by Harris Technology Solutions.
