Musikfest Café hosts several tribute bands

The music of all your favorite bands is taking over the Musikfest Café.

ArtsQuest is hosing an unforgettable series of tribute band performances, bringing the sounds of iconic artists straight to the stage.

Life After Dead: Grateful Dead Tribute

Life After Dead will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday. The band is a tribute to the improvisational, indescribable music of The Grateful Dead. Together, they create a sound that is both reminiscent and new, which stretches the boundaries of the imagination and inspires their audience to dance.

RUBIX KUBE: THE EIGHTIES STRIKE BACK Show!

RUBIX KUBE has taken the universe by storm as the most excellent ’80s tribute band of all time! The dynamic duo of karma chameleons leading RUBIX KUBE can transform into ‘80s icons like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Cher and Prince in the blink of an eye. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. on April 18.

Garden State Radio

At 8 p.m. on April 19, Garden State Radio has been one of New Jersey’s most popular cover bands over the past decade.

Known for their unique live show that feels more like a stadium concert than a local cover band, they have performed thousands of shows for huge crowds all over the East Coast.

Their seasoned, professional musicians perform an eclectic variety of music spanning everything from the ’70s to today, and they specialize in creating an interactive entertainment experience.

Brain Damage: A Tribute to Pink Floyd

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” album, Brain Damage will play this album in its entirety plus other favorite hits at 7:30 p.m. on May 9. Brain Damage flawlessly replicates every nuance of the Pink Floyd catalog.
