March 28, 1990 — Pleasant Valley picks up its first baseball win of the season by gaining a 7-2 victory over Allentown Central Catholic. Eric Snyder pitches four shutout innings to earn the pitching decision, getting relief help from both Brian Seiwell and Sloan Burnett. The Bears, coached by Jeff Kashner, take a lead they will never lose when Tim Roberts doubles in the fourth inning and Scott Storey singles him home. Roberts adds an RBI single in the fifth and scores on a bases-loaded walk to Storey.
