Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for March 31-April 4.
Monday: Breaded Pork, Root Vegetables, Brussels Sprouts, Applesauce or Ham and Cheese Sandwich.
Tuesday: BBQ Riblet, Diced Potatoes, Baked Beans, Cantaloupe or Tuna Salad Plate.
Wednesday: Stuffed Chicken, Potatoes, Peas and Onions, Applesauce or Greek Salad with Chicken.
Thursday: Minestrone Soup, Meatball Sandwich, Salad, Pears or Chicken Salad Sandwich.
Friday: Breaded Fish, Macaroni and Cheese, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Pudding, or Chicken And Cheese Sandwich.
The senior center also announced the following events:
Game Day on March 28 at 11 a.m.
Fancy Nutritious Drinks on March 31 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on April 1 at 10:45; Drumming Exercise on April 2 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on April 3 at 11 a.m.; Practice Cornhole and Ladderball for Senior Games on April 4 at 10:30 a.m.
Scattergories on April 7 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on April 8 at 10:45 a.m.; Wii Bowling on April 9 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on April 10 at 10 a.m. followed by Po-Keeno at 11 a.m.; Practice Cornhole and Ladderball for Senior Games on April 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Senior Games start May 6. Make sure to fill out your application at the senior center.
Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Summit Hill
Street sweeping
Summit Hill crews continue street sweeping. Streets will be posted ahead of the sweeping.
All vehicles for those streets should then be moved by 8 a.m. and not returned until after street sweeping has been completed on that street. If a vehicle is not moved, police will issue a ticket.
The tentative schedule is:
• March 28: Even side of Holland, Walter, Market, Poplar, Elm and Spruce streets, and both sides of Carbon Avenue.
• March 31: Odd side of Holland, Walter, Market, Poplar, Elm and Spruce streets, and both sides of School and Iron streets.
• April 1: Alleys on both sides: McMurtrie, Park, Berea, Mill, Richards, Union, Ridge and Summit.
• April 2: East and West Mountaintop Road and Stoney Lonesome Road.
Panther Valley Library
• The Panther Valley Public Library will host a preschool story hour every Wednesday from 10-11a.m. The event is great for ages 3-5 years old. Participants will enjoy stories, crafts and a light snack.

Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:45 a.m., and Thursday evening from 5-6:45 p.m. The library is located at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.
