The Lehigh Gorge trail in Lehigh Gorge State Park will be closed to traffic from mile marker 111-114 March 31 through April 18 for construction to improve the trail surface.

Park visitors will be able to use Lehigh Gorge trail from Rockport south to Penn Haven, and Glen Onoko north to mile marker 111, but there will be no through traffic between Rockport and Glen Onoko.

Heavy trucks and machinery will be entering and exiting the trail during this time frame. Park visitors must utilize caution and should plan accordingly.
