The body of a Lehighton man was found Tuesday morning in the borough.

Carbon County Coroner Mark K. Smith said in a release Tuesday afternoon that the body of Kevin Smith, 68, was discovered in a portable restroom area along Constitution Avenue.

The coroner said that Kevin Smith was pronounced dead at 10:15 a.m., and died of natural causes.

The coroner said the investigation of this case is being handled by the Carbon County Coroner’s Office, along with the Lehighton Police Department.
