State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 31-year-old man from Allentown is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 9:13 a.m. March 11.

He was stopped in a 2022 Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of routes 873 and 309 in North Whitehall Township, after which police found him to be in possession of marijuana.

• A 66-year-old woman from Orefield was targeted in a theft by deception incident reported at 5:26 p.m. Feb. 13 on York Drive, North Whitehall Township.

Police said she lost $2,500 in a PPL scam.

• Three people were cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a neighborhood dispute at 3:38 p.m. Feb. 23 on Maple Street in North Whitehall Township.

Cited were a 37-year-old man, a 40-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, all of Allentown.

Police said upon arrival they heard yelling and screaming from a and issued the citations based on prior contact and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
