One person was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash in East Penn Township. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. The driver was traveling west in the 900 block of Germans Road. The driver apparently lost control entering the right berm, hitting a tree head on. The victim was treated by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a trauma center. Lehighton state police are investigating the incident.
