Carbon County agencies are looking at essential health services during an annual event.

The Human Services Priorities Breakfast, hosted by the Carbon County Collaborative, will be held from 8 a.m.-noon on April 4. This year’s breakfast is at the Lehighton American Legion Post 314, 314 Veterans Ave., Lehighton.

The event will include a panel of speakers discussing issues relating to the availability, accessibility and gaps as well as resources available in the county. The discussion topic is called “Carbon’s Connection to Essential Health Services.”

Doors for the event open at 8 a.m., with the breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. The panel program will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Following the panel discussion, the second annual Health and Human Services Scholarship will be presented.

A form indicating the names of those attending from the agency, payment of $20 per meal and contact information should be mailed to Serrano at Eastcentral PA AHEC, P.O. Box 616, Lehighton, PA 18235. Payment should be made out to Interagency Council of Carbon County.

Deadline to submit registration is Friday.
