Attorney George Dydynsky of Towamensing Township has been named as a member of the Carbon County Election Board for the elections to be held May 21 and Nov. 5.

Judge John P. Lavelle announced appointment of the three-person board in an order handed down this week.

Previously announced by order were the jurist who will also serve, along with Attorney Carol (Wildoner) Walbert of Jim Thorpe.

Their appointments come as a result of the fact that the current Carbon County Commissioners, who normally serve as the board, are ineligible to take part because of being candidates for re-election.

They are Luther A. Getz, chairman, Albert T. Koch and Dean D.W. DeLong.
