DOGE is reducing staff in many federal agencies. I know I did not vote for Elon Musk. Was he on the ballot? If the Oval Office seems bent on reducing the US deficit. Why not look into reducing

Congress?

There are 435 members of the House of Representatives making $174,000 a year. If the agencies that have had staff reductions were deemed overstuffed and were seen as functionable with less staff by Elon (yet to be seen). I would think the House of Representatives should be seen in that same light.
