The Weissport Borough Council has lost two more members.

Weissport Borough Council members Brenda Leiby and Joe Foster both resigned from the board, citing personal and medical reasons. Their resignations were effective immediately. Leiby, who has served more than 10 years resigned on March 3 and Foster resigned Wednesday.

This comes after the Council President Thomas Ketchledge resigned from the board at the Feb. 17 meeting, citing personal reasons.

No other information was provided about the resignations or the plan to fill the vacant seats.

The next borough council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the borough hall, 440 Allen St., Weissport.
