March 12, 2005 — Three Northern Lehigh wrestlers gain medals at the PIAA State Wrestling Championships, while Bulldog head coach Todd Herzog is honored as the 2A Coach of the Year. Scott Snyder, who had reached the semifinals, finishes sixth at 215 after nearly rallying in his fifth-place match. Snyder trailed 6-0 but his comeback comes up short, falling 6-5. Frank Heffernan gains a seventh-place finish, earning an 8-3 decision in his seventh-place match at 152. Adam Hluschuk earns eighth at 119 for his second medal in two straight trips to states. Herzog led Nolehi to a PIAA team championship and had eight of his wrestlers reach states.
