State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police were called to a harassment by physical contact incident at 5:25 p.m. March 7 on Pennsylvania Avenue in West Mahanoy Township.

Police said a 29-year-old woman from Mahanoy City said a woman punched her during an altercation over a relationship both women were having with a man.

Police said the woman did not want to press charges.

• Police said the Lowe’s Distribution Center, Cass Township, was evacuated at 3:50 p.m. March 9 after a bomb scare.

They said the perimeter of the building was secured while state police explosive detection dogs searched the property. No device was found.

• Gina Callavini, 46, of Tamaqua, was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to a disturbance at 4:02 p.m. March 8 at a business along Plaza Drive, Rush Township.

Police said she walked into her daughter’s place of employment and began yelling at her while using obscenities. They said she was yelling to a degree it disturbed numerous patrons of the business.
