Jim Thorpe graduate Skyler Searfoss helped the Holy Family University women’s basketball team defeat Jefferson 77-68 on Sunday afternoon to capture its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship since 2015 and clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
Searfoss was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team. She finished with 11 points and a game and career-high seven assists.
She ranks second on the team, averaging 9.0 points per game, and leads the team with 75 assists and 44 steals while averaging 27.2 minutes per game.
Holy Family will face Assumption University Friday, March 14, in the Division II East Regional at Bentley University at 12 p.m.
