Police: Man hit father with brass knuckles
A Kunkletown man has been charged with attacking his father with brass knuckles during a dispute in Polk Township.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Trooper Nicholas Perra of the Pennsylvania State Police, Lehighton barracks, in the case against David Raymond-Robinson:
At 7:40 p.m. March 4, Perra was dispatched to a home in the 6500 block of Pine Tree Lane for an active domestic incident.
Perra said that Raymond-Robinson, 27, was standing nude inside the home in the living room and the victim sitting on the living room couch with bleeding injuries to his head and nose.
At 8 p.m., Perra spoke to Raymond-Robinson, who said that he punched an old (expletive) man.
Raymond-Robinson continued to speak about God and the godlessness in the world, and said that he struck the older man because of infidelity and godlessness, punching him about four times.
Trooper Casey Rizzo spoke to the father, who said he was hit an unknown amount of times by Raymond-Robinson in the head and face with black brass knuckles while he was sitting on the couch, and did not know the motive for the assault.
A witness said she observed Raymond-Robinson hit the victim multiple times and heard Raymond-Robinson state: “I’m going to jail tonight and you’re going to die tonight and you’re going to like it because of the godlessness.”
Black brass knuckles were on the couch in the living room and confiscated as evidence.
Raymond-Robinson denied striking the victim with brass knuckles.
The suspect faces charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons.
Raymond-Robinson is in the Monroe County Prison in lieu of $75,000 monetary bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Thursday before District Judge Daniel Kresge of Bartonsville.
