Jim Thorpe graduate and Kutztown University junior Leila Hurley was recently named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East All-Conference Team.
Hurley, a lights-out shooter from long distance or short range, was selected to the Second Team, her first receiving postseason honors.
The former Olympian has started 26 of her team’s 28 games and is averaging 11.3 points per game, second on the team. She has connected on 65 three-pointers at a .374 percentage, which is second best in the PSAC. She averages 2.3 threes per game, tied for third-most in the conference.
Hurley is also averaging 2.5 rebounds per contest and has a career-best 28 steals. She is also 51-of-69 at the free throw line for a .739 percentage and has 26 assists.
