Rebuttal to ‘the president’s accomplishments’ letter
You disparaged me in a previous letter when I stated that 46 Senate Democrats supported abortion up to and including birth. I was correct and provided the voting records to prove it.
Your latest letter mocking me and disparaging Trump’s Cabinet picks, lacks merit. Here are the facts:
1) It was none other than Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Shultz, D-Florida, who claimed that former Democrat, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, was “likely a Russian asset” without providing any evidence. Gabbard served 2 tours of duty in the Middle East and was a Major in the Army National Guard.
2) Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, former FOX News host, has degrees from Princeton and Harvard, was awarded two Bronze Stars, was a Major in the Army National Guard, and served tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Biden’s Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, on the other hand, went AWOL to have prostate surgery without telling Senile Joe. Let’s not forget Biden’s reprehensible Afghanistan withdrawal, leaving $7 billion of our military equipment behind, according to the Pentagon.
3) Former Democrat, HHS Secretary RFK Jr., wants to ban food dyes and other additives in our foods to bring our food standards up to par with other European nations. He wants to take ultra-processed foods out of school lunches, asserting that 60% of our children suffer from chronic health issues. Kennedy wants to publicize the efficacy and side effects of vaccines. What’s wrong with that?
4) According to VA Secretary Doug Collins, benefits are not getting cut, services are being implemented and improved.
5) Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) team has saved the hardworking American taxpayers $105 billion of waste, fraud and abuse thus far in our federal government. Their goal: a whopping $2 trillion.
Lastly, watching Trump’s Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, former CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, exclaim with jubilance that their goal to balance the federal budget (our National Debt is over $36 trillion) should make even the most ardent TRUMP detractors happy. A government working for the people is exactly what our Founding Fathers wanted.
