Blue Mountain, Camelback announces events

A full slate of events fill the calendar at Blue Mountain Resort and Camelback Resort, giving skiers and snowboarders more reasons to revel in the winter season.

Upcoming events at Blue Mountain Resort include:

• Cardboard Box Derby, held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, this free, family-friendly event invites guests to build their very own cardboard box racer — built solely of cardboard, tape, glue, and string — and put it to the test down the resort’s Snow Tubing Hill.

Prizes will be awarded for fastest, most creative, and biggest fail of the day. Register here.

• Trivia Tuesdays, held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, guests can test their knowledge base of random factoids with Blue’s weekly trivia competition.

Strike up a friendly rivalry with fellow Blue visitors at Slopeside Pub & Grill over 5 rounds of 10 questions each.

• Tunes & Tubes, held from 5-9 p.m. Thursdays, from classic rock anthems, disco bangers, show tunes, iconic movie soundtracks, to today’s chart-topping hits, guests can unleash their inner rock star as they slide their way through the park for a 2-hour snow tubing session.
