MMI Preparatory School’s Music Department and Carbon Career & Technical Institute’s Graphic Design studio have recently partnered to create a banner for MMI’s inaugural Chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society.

As the Creative and Performing Arts Department at MMI continues to grow, so too is the need to recognize exceptional musicians in both the vocal and instrumental music departments.

The Tri-M Music Honor Society recognizes outstanding student musicians who possess great character, strong leadership skills and a desire to serve the community utilizing music.

Marissa Blasko, CCTI Class of ’25, created the banner under the supervision of graphic design adviser Maritza Reinbold.

CCTI Principal Michelle Allen welcomed MMI Preparatory Head of School Theresa Long and Director of Music Jennifer Gerhard to tour the graphic design studio and learn more about the program and the mission of the school before unveiling the finished banner.
