State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9 p.m. Feb. 18 at the intersection of Park Avenue and Oakwood Lane in North Whitehall Township.

Police said a 2015 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 17-year-old girl from Kunkletown, entered the intersection and struck a 2004 Ford F350 operated by Austin R. Krum, 22, of Schnecksville, which was westbound on Park Avenue and half way through the intersection.

Police said the F350 continued forward and began to side slip on its right side, spinning counter-clockwise and coming to rest on the right median.

Police said a second 17-year-old girl from Kunkletown was a passenger in the Elantra and Kiley P. Althouse, 22, of Germansville, were in the truck.

They said the driver of the Elantra was cited.

• Gerald Benbow, 55, of Coplay, is facing drug possession charges after a crash at 12:20 p.m. Feb. 7 at the intersection of Steelstone Road and Airport Road Drive in Hanover Township.

Police said the rear-end incident involved a 2015 Subaru Forester and a 2019 Ford Explorer.

They said a Walnutport woman is the victim of the crash.

Police said Benbow was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
