State police at the Lehighton barracks said a Kunkletown man had $7,500 stolen from him in a theft by deception/identity theft incident.

Police were called at 1:37 p.m. Feb. 20 to a property on Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township, where the man reported that there was fraudulent activity on his personal bank account.
