State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 40-year-old Summit Hill man was arrested on drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 9:40 a.m. Feb. 25 on North Valley Street in New Philadelphia.

Police said he was stopped in a 2013 Mazda for numerous Motor Vehicle Code violations, after which a consent search of the vehicle yielded the seizure of illegal drugs and related paraphernalia.

• Police were summoned to investigate a theft from a building that was reported to have occurred between 5:07 and 6:25 p.m. Feb. 6.

A 70-year-old man from MaryD reported the theft took place on Back Street in Schuylkill Township, police said.
