Four officials of the Carbon County Area Vocational-Technical School, Jim Thorpe, received certificates of achievement for participation in in-service education programs sponsored by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association.

Earning the certificates were George K. Seiler, director; Lyle Augustine Jr., business manager; Ruth Mary Behr, administrative secretary; and Attorney William B. Quinn, solicitor.

The foursome accumulated points needed to attain the certificates in various PSBA workshops and seminars and at the annual summer workshop held last year at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.
