W. Penn praises administrators

West Penn Township administrators received some heady praise during last week’s board of supervisors meeting.

Following the hiring of several positions, board Chairman Tony Prudenti lauded various members of the township’s administrative team.

Prudenti began with township roadmaster Jeremy Frable, who he said often goes above and beyond his scope of duties to help the township.

“Jeremy comes in when he doesn’t have to come in,” Prudenti said. “It’s very much appreciated.”

Prudenti took it a step further.

“The public doesn’t realize the people that work for the township in administration,” he said. “They’re unbelievable.”

Prudenti also mentioned Herb Woodring, assistant to the board, as well as Katie Orlick, township secretary, who also take on additional duties for the township.

“These people don’t charge us for this,” he said. “It’s amazing to see the dedication we have with these employees.”

Prudenti then spoke in the direction of township police Chief Cpl. Jason Lorah when mentioning what he referred to as the “mutual admiration club” that exists between Lorah and Sgt. John Kaczmarczyk.

He told Lorah he says nice things about Kaczmarczyk, while Kaczmarczyk says nice things about Lorah.

Lorah acknowledged that both he and Kaczmarczyk have a mutual admiration and enjoy working with each other.
