MCT sponsors finance program for students
The Mauch Chunk Trust Company is again sponsoring The Personal Finance Lab and Dream Learn Pitch with Brighter Financial Futures.
This world-class, web-based platform features: Online Learning Modules with certifications in Personal Finance and Investing 101 in addition to two simulations and competitions: The Personal Budgeting Challenge and the Investing Challenge.
The Investing Challenge is a real-time stock market simulation used by over 70% of top business schools in the U.S.
The Personal Finance Lab offers a cutting-edge learning experience:
• Four quarter-semester and two full-semester programs with engaging competitions.
• A comprehensive curriculum that seamlessly integrates lessons, assignments and grading for easy teacher management.
• Superior gamification with the Investing Challenge and Personal Budgeting Challenge, creating an interactive and immersive learning experience.
The next round of the Investing Challenge and Personal Budgeting Competition is now underway, running until April 18. Students can compete at the classroom, county and state levels, gaining valuable financial skills while showcasing their talents.

The Dream-Learn-Pitch entrepreneurship program inspires students to develop business skills through online curriculums, conferences and teacher-led activities. Students can compete for up to $10,000 in prizes and Pennsylvania College of Technology scholarships totaling up to $40,000 for a team of four students or $10,000 per student.
